It takes 12 hours of overnight journey from Delhi to reach Manali from where your real journey of the Himalayas will kick start. On the first day of your trip, board a Volvo bus to Manali from Delhi/Chandigarh. It will be an overnight journey so make sure that you are well prepared.

On the second day after reaching Manali our expedition Guide will be there to receive you at the Bus stand. After the warm and pleasant welcome, we will take you towards your hotel, where you can rest for a while and after that, our expedition guide will provide you with the Bikes. This first day is all about connecting your soul to the bikes which you are going to ride for the next 7 days. Local sightseeing is the best way to understand the Himalayan terrain and the riding conditions so we will cover all the local destinations around Manali on that Day. After that, you will return back to your hotel, where you will have dinner along with a bonfire.

After having a delicious breakfast, you will move towards the renowned hill station Dharmshala. It is situated in the laps of the Dhauladhar ranges. The place is also known as the little Lhasa of India. It is home to the Buddhist Dharma guru Dalai Lama. It is inspired by flawless Tibetian intricate design and architecture. The place is home to some of the most beautiful monasteries. It is situated about six hours to the east of Bhuntar. Afterwards, in the evening, you will ride to Mc Leodgunj, a place known for its nightlife and café. It is just 2 km from Dharmshala.
The journey will be beautiful and most pleasant for you. You will experience the countryside life and metaled roads. In Mc Leodgunj, after you explore the nightlife, you can check into your hotel and experience the city view of Dharmshala. These places are among the most beautiful places in Himachal Pradesh. After having the traditional and delicious Pahadi breakfast, you will leave for your next location that is Dalhousie. The hill station is named after Lord Dalhousie, who was the British Governor-general from 1848 to 1856 in India. On this day, much of your time will be spent riding towards the north in the inner summits of the Himalayas through magical fairy tale villages and pastoral landscapes. The entire journey of 6 hours from Dharmshala is breathtaking and you will experience eternal joys for life.
On this day, you will cross the renowned town of Khajjair, which is known as the mini Switzerland of India. The place is so picturesque that one would get carried away with its beauty. Khajjair also provides adventure sports such as paragliding and zorbing if you like some adventure. You will explore the small town of Dalhousie, which is renowned for its churches and British architecture dating 200 to 300 years old. The small village is surrounded by dense deodar trees with a small mall road to walk and have some good time with oneself.
At the end of the day after exploring the village, you will check into your hotel and gather for a get-together for a bonfire session, where your rider and you can have some conversations. You must be thinking about what kind of session is this, but you will enjoy spending time to hear some real stories of the Himalayas from your rider.

After having a delicious breakfast, you will leave towards your next destination that is Bairagarh. One will feel the real wrath of the Himalayan roads after Dalhousie. The offbeat terrain along with cold temperature will give a chill to your spines. The 119 km journey from Dalhousie to Bairagarh for Sach Pass is a dangerous terrain tour. So, if you like some thrill in life then the journey is for you.
Unstable overhanging cliffs and the immeasurable steep gorge is the sight from Dalhousie to Bairagarh that you will experience. Motorbike expeditions always urge their fellow travellers to plan Sach Pass only with some experienced and proper motorbike touring company. After 5 to 6 hours of riding, you will reach this secluded hamlet in the Himalayas named Bairagarh. After reaching this place, you will explore the beautiful village and then check into the hotel. After having your dinner, you can take a rest in the town.

After waking up in the morning and having a traditional breakfast, you will move towards Killar, a countryside village in the laps of the Himalayas. The serene village is well-known for its nomadic life as it is the hub to the old shepherd route linking Chamba district to Lahaul Spiti district. The 3-hour journey from Bairagarh to Killar is marked by the most dangerous pass of the world. The Sach Pass is located at an altitude of 14500 feet above sea level in Himachal Pradesh.
The ride time from Bairagarh may be short but the experience this 3-hour ride offers enough for life. You will see clean mountain air and howling of animals in this motorbike tour will be memorable in your hearts for life. Especially, if it is the monsoon season.
Another thing about riding from Bairagarh to Killar is the water crossing which will make your adrenaline go to the next level. Sanskari Nala is one of the renowned and dangerous water crossings in the area, that will test your riding skills. Afterwards, in the evening, you will reach Killar and you will check into your hotel as the next day is going to be more thrilling for you.

After having the traditional breakfast of Shepherd, you will ride towards Kishtwar and return in the evening. It is 6 to 7 hours of journey. If you wish to take a motorbike expedition to Sach Pass then you must explore the most dangerous and the toughest riding experience. It is the Killer-Kishtwar-Killar stretch which is the most dangerous road across the globe.
Most Himalayan motorcycle experts consider this region in Chamba to be the Mecca of riders and the dead-end of all the dangerous roads in the world. Sach Pass region is truly unique and offers a lot of possibilities for both nature lovers and bikers. Riding through snow caves and huge glaciers surrounding the entire road is an experience in itself. Later by the evening, you will return to Killar for your overnight stay.

After having a delicious breakfast, you will move towards the renowned town of Spiti and Lahaul named Keylong through Pangi. The Pangi valley is situated in the Chamba district and is quite serene. It is a calm tribal place with an unadulterated and beautiful area. It is the perfect place to feel the culture and feel the real Himalayan vibes. Killer to Pangi is about 3 hours by motorbike, you can stop for some snacks or tea. The roads will be unmetalled and offbeat here, it might be challenging for both pillions and riders to ride from Killar to Keylong.
The whole stretch will be surrounded by mountains and snow-capped with little vegetation making it isolated and look rugged. After 6 hours of riding, you will reach the renowned Keylong town, which is known for its panoramic view, climate and hostels. You will stop at this beautiful place for a night stay. You will check into the hotel and will have some bonfire session to freshen up all your motorbike tour memories.

After breakfast, we will begin the last day of our motorbike adventure journey. The total distance is 135 km. The key destinations we will cover include Tandi, Sisu, the Atal Tunnel, and Manali.
The journey promises breathtaking views and thrilling roads. Tandi offers a unique blend of natural beauty and tranquillity, perfect for nature lovers. Sisu, with its serene landscape, provides a picturesque backdrop for our ride. The Atal Tunnel, an engineering marvel, will be a highlight of our Today Expedition, offering a glimpse into the region’s advancements. Reaching Manali will mark the successful completion of our adventurous journey, leaving us with unforgettable memories and experiences.

Inclusions
Accommodation.
This refers to the places where participants will stay overnight during the Expedition. The specific details about the accommodation, such as the type of lodging and its amenities, are usually mentioned in the daily itinerary.
Motorbike Mechanic.
This indicates the presence of a mechanic who is knowledgeable about motorbikes and can provide assistance and maintenance throughout the expedition. They are responsible for addressing any mechanical issues or breakdowns that may occur during the journey.
Environmental & Permit fee.
This fee covers any necessary permits or fees required for accessing certain areas or regions during the expedition. It ensures compliance with local regulations and helps to support the preservation of the environment.
01 backup vehicle to carry luggage.
A backup vehicle is provided to carry luggage. Participants can store their belongings in the backup vehicle, allowing them to ride their motorbikes without carrying heavy baggage.
First aid box and oxygen cylinder.
These are safety provisions included in case of any medical emergencies during the expedition. The first aid box contains basic medical supplies to address minor injuries or ailments, while the oxygen cylinder is used in case of altitude-related issues or breathing difficulties in high-altitude regions.
Experienced English-speaking road captain.
The road captain is a knowledgeable and experienced individual who leads the expedition. They are fluent in English and guide the participants throughout the journey, ensuring smooth navigation and addressing any concerns or questions along the way.
Royal Enfield Himalayan.
This specifies the type of motorbike provided for the expedition. The Royal Enfield Himalayan is a popular model known for its reliability and suitability for adventure or off-road riding.
Fuel.
Fuel for the motorbikes is included in the expedition package. This ensures that participants have a sufficient fuel supply to cover the distances travelled during the expedition.
Exclusions
- Personal expenses like Telephone, Laundry, Tips Table Drinks etc.
- Any type of insurance-Medical, Accidental, theft
- The cost incurred to transfer or tow the motorbike in case it is dropped on the way (Till our main office).
- Any lunch and other meals not mentioned in package inclusions
- Security deposit per motorbike of £200. As per the deposit policy (This is refundable at the end of the trip if there is no damage or spare parts used.)
- Parking and monument entry fees during sightseeing.
- Any cost incurred due to extension, change of itinerary due to natural calamities, roadblocks, vehicle breakdown, union issues and factors beyond our control (to be paid by the client directly on the spot)
- Anything that is not mentioned in the Inclusion sections
- Tipping for the mechanic, backup driver, and guide, a suggested range is between £50 and £200, depending on the quality of service provided.
Things To Carry
Bike Gear (* required)
The easiest way to bring your riding gear is by wearing it on the flight if you need to transfer onto a smaller, national flight with luggage restrictions (Please check before you leave home). Should you only fly international flights to the meeting point, it’s easy to pack all this gear into a duffel bag, which can be folded and kept with your luggage which will travel in the backup van for the duration of your motorcycle tour.

Confirmation Policy
The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking
In case the preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule of the customer’s preference will be arranged and a new confirmation voucher will be sent via email.
Booking & payment conditions:
A deposit of 30% of the total cost of the tour is required at the time of booking.
The full payment (the remaining 70%) has to be done until 2 weeks before the start of the Expedition.

We require a minimum strength of 3 riders to operate one group with backup.
If there are any additional expenses due to bad weather or any other reason beyond the control of the tour operator on account of a hotel stay, transportation, meals, etc. extra bill will be raised.
Neither Motorbike Expeditions Ltd nor the participating partners/hotels will be responsible for the additional expenses.
Motorbike Expeditions is not responsible for any change in itinerary due to reasons beyond our control like changes in flight and train schedule, cancellation of flights/trains, political disturbances, natural phenomena, etc.
If any group member wants to leave the group in between the expedition then he/she has to pay the cost for transportation of bike from the point of leaving the tour to Main office drop.
Group members would have to get their own riding gear. Wearing a helmet, carrying a valid ID proof & driving license is mandatory.
All guests will be responsible for the safety and security of their own luggage. We will not be at all responsible for the damaged/missing/lost luggage. So carry a small daypack bag to carry all the expensive things with you.
The advisable maximum size of baggage should not exceed 60 litres. Remember that you have to carry the luggage to the backup vehicle and into the accommodation
